Location: Bay Pines, Florida. Set-Aside: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE BB Construction Prepare Site for Installation of a new PET/CT BAY PINES VAMC. Set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) This procurement is set-aside pursuant to an order of priority established in 38 U.S.C. 8127. No contract shall be awarded from this pre-solicitation notice. A request for quote will be posted on or about 06 April 2026. Project # 516-CSI-134 BB Construction Prepare Site for Installation of a new PET/CT, located at the Bay Pines VAMC - 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744 RFQ# 36C24826Q0459. Period of Performance: 400 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. THE BID/BUILD CONTRACTOR shall create a new PET/CT Scan Room (2C118) and Control Room 2C107 in the footprint of the existing Imaging Room 2C118 and adjacent Dosage Admin 2C107 and Storage 2C107A. A new PET/CT Equipment Room (114) will be carved out of the existing, reconfigured nearby corridor areas. Modifications to several areas within the Nuclear Medicine suite. Modified areas include Check-In 2C129 to provide better patient privacy for VAMC Bay Pines Construction Prepare Site for Installation of a new PET/CT, as required by SOW, drawings, and specifications The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45M. The VAAR 836.204 magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. All businesses desiring to be considered must be registered with SAM.gov before contract award, during the contract period of performance, and must continue to remain registered through the final invoice payment. Business size and NAICS will be verified using the Small Business Search (https://search.certifications.sba.gov/). The Contracting Officer for this project will be Cynda Rosa, and the Contracting Specialist will be Laurie Whitmore. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No contract shall be awarded from this pre-solicitation notice. The request for proposal with SPECs and further details will be published after the closing of the synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a proposal when requested, which shall be considered by the agency. SDVOSBs are encouraged to respond to communicate interest in competing for this requirement to support the requirement set-aside.
