RFP Description

Location: Louisiana. Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). Amendment 0001 (06/02/2026 - provide government responses to Q&A, establishes the site visit, and new quote submission deadline. Amendment 0001 (05/29/26) - advises Q&A, site visit info, and new quote submission deadline will be issued by future amendment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in RFO 12.202, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, has a requirement for Thermal Inspection Services. This requirement is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under Request for Quote (RFQ) No. W912P826QA022 and is being procured as a ?rm-?xed-price contract. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) contract resulting from this solicitation to the offe ror responsible whose quote conforms to the solicitation and represents the best value to the Government. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541350 Building Inspection Services, with a size standard of $11,500,000. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with RFO Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Work includes providing thermal (infrared) inspection services of electrical systems located at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District facility. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform thermographic inspections to identify heat anomalies, potential equipment failures, and ine?iciencies. Services include use of certi?ed personnel, calibrated equipment, and delivery of a detailed report with ?ndings and recommended corrective actions. Work will be performed within an occupied Government facility, and the Contractor shall coordinate all work with Government personnel to minimize disruption to ongoing operations. The anticipated period of performance is 45 calendar days from date of contract award. The basis for award will be the Lowest Priced Offeror. All Offerors must quote on all items to be eligible for award. Quotes are due no later than 1 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, Central Standard Time (CST). (E-mail submissions must be checked and determined to be virus-free prior to submission.) The Government requires that quotes remain valid for 60 calendar days from the date of submission. Once the agency receives your quote at the email addresses below, you will then receive a confirmation email stating your quote was received. If an Offeror does not receive a reply acknowledging receipt electronically from the New Orleans District, it is incumbent upon the Offeror to seek confirmation from the issuing Contracting office by phone. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a Small Business under NAICS code 541350 to be considered for award. NOTE: (RFO 52.204-7) In accordance with RFO 4.203 states prospective Offerors shall be registered in the Department of Defense "System for Award Management" (SAM) database at the time of submission of its offer under NAICS 541350.
