RFP Description

Location: Columbus, Mississippi. Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). Update 1: The purpose is to update point of contact and All RFIs must be submitted NLT 7:30 AM CST, on 09 June 2026. If RFI were submitted please resubmit to willie.common.1@us.af.mil. NOTE: Contractors/Offerors must complete CUI Training Slides; sign and return the "MFR Contractor CUI Training Acknowledgment for Solicitations" attachment to gain access to drawings and other associated CUI documentation. Once the POC has received your signed MFR, please request access to the locked documents through SAM.gov. Your MFR will be reviewed and access to the lock SAM.gov documents will be granted accordingly. Proposals will be submitted electronically. Description: The kiddie pool is located adjacent to the main base pool, within the aquatic center enclosure of the Columbus Club B944. The main pool as well as the kiddie pool were originally constructed in the early 1960s, with alterations and repairs happening in the early 1990s as well as the early 2010s. The kiddie pool basin construction type is fiberglass. The kiddie pool has developed leaks at its perimeter, where the fiberglass of the kiddie pool basin meets the concrete deck. The kiddie pools existing skimmer is the only means for returning water to the pumping systems. This skimmer is undersized, forcing staff to significantly lower the water supply to the jets and sprayers to ensure the kiddie pool does not overfill. The deck drainage channel separating the kiddie pool from the nearby patio is also undersized. Site Visit, RSVP, and Base Entry: The Government invites you to a site visit on 26 May 2026 at 9:00 AM CST. Attendance is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Please note that registration is required by 1:00 PM CST on 18 May 2026. To register, please email the POC requesting a DoD Safe drop-off link to securely upload your completed Entry Authorization Listing (EAL) document (found in the list of SAM.gov attachments). If you do not contact the POC by 1:00 PM CST on 18 May 2026, you will not be able to attend the site visit. Identification: All attendees must bring a valid photo ID. Vehicle Requirements: If driving on base, please ensure the driver has driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. IMPORTANT: All contractors should arrive at Columbus AFBs Visitors Center early and wait for a 14th Contracting Squadron representative to arrive and lead them to the site visit location. The representative will leave the visitors center at 9:00 AM CST Additional Info: All RFIs must be submitted NLT 7:30 AM CST, on 01 June 2026. IAW FAR 36.204(b) - The range of magnitude for this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
