RFP Description

Location: 0, South Carolina. Amendment 0004: The purpose of this Amendment is to extend the Proposal Due date until 18 June 2026 at 1200 PM EST. Amendment 0002: The purpose of this Amendment is to post the Site Visit Sign in sheet. Amendment 0001: The purpose of this Amendment is to: Add JB CHS Question and Answer Form Post updated Specification (Removing 3.11 from Section 01 45 00) Pages 10-13 Notice to Site Visit attendees: You must submit the following to brian.hawk@us.af.mil to gain access to the Base. Send a Request for DOD Safe drop off and I'll send a link. All submissions need to be received by the Government NLT 12:00 PM (Noon) on 12 May 2026. Persons arriving without prior access coordinations will not be permitted on base for the visit. Full Name Date of Birth State ID / Drivers License Number Social Security Number Includes performance of construction contract administration (Critical Path Method Scheduling, submittal management and closeout), multi-discipline efforts involving work on a secure Runway. Additionally, relevant performance includes performance of multi-discipline efforts involving removal and replacement of 136 individual pavement panels that measure 25 ft wide x 25 ft long x 24 inches deep, located at the intersection of the primary and secondary runway. Ability to perform work between hours of 2300-0700 hours Thursday through Monday. The work involves 3 primary activities each night including saw cutting, removal and installation of temporary panels, and placement of permanent panels. Show ability to construct permanent panels from fast setting concrete, capable of achieving the strength to handle aircraft traffic during a 3 -4-hour cure period. The runway intersection shall be open for daily aircraft traffic each morning. The project necessitates specialized capabilities and equipment, such as sawing and removal equipment for 24-inch pavement and volumetric mixers, sufficient in quantity to place a minimum of 50 cubic yards of fast setting concrete. Ancillary work includes milling and overlay of existing asphalt shoulders, installation of new runway centerline and edge lightings within the limits of work, installation of runway markings, pavement grinding for smoothness and pavement grooving, and incidental work that is similar or greater in scope, magnitude, and complexity than the effort described in this solicitation (Runway Asphalt and Concrete Repair and The evaluation of past performance information will take into Paving). Last, show ability to provide a work force capable of gaining clearance onto a secure flightline
