RFP Description

Location: Iowa. Set-Aside: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside. TITLE OF PROJECT: Muscatine-Louisa County Drainage District No. 13 2024 Event PL84-99 Flood Repairs (W912EK26BA007) The Government anticipates issuing an SDVOSB Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for the project known as: PL84-99 Flood Repairs. Project Description: This requirement is to repair and replace the damaged LP Engine with a new Diesel Engine. Other supporting components will be provided including a diesel tank, gear drive, supporting electrical and piping, and more. In accordance with FARS 36.204(g), the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. This prospective contract action will be conducted using the NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction), the size standard is $45M, and the Federal Supply Code is Y1QA Construction of Restoration of Real Property (Public or Private). The solicitation will proceed as a Competitive SDVOSB IFB Set-Aside and is estimated to be issued about middle June or early July 2026. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as SAM.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The only INTERESTED VENDORS LISTS (plan-holder's/bidder's list) is available via SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for self-identifying as interested vendors and viewing other interested vendors. Contractors should check beta.sam.gov frequently for any changes to the interested vendors list and notice.
