RFP Description

Location: Fort Drum, New York. This is a notification that the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Drum, intends to award a single-source Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) IAW FAR 6.302, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirements to Charter Communications Operating LLC, DBA Spectrum. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 517111, Wired Telecommunications Carriers, with a small business size of 1,500 employees. The Government requires business class wired Cable television (CATV) services IAW AR 25-1 for appropriated funds activities. Spectrum is the only known provider to the Fort Drum geographical area based on previous acquisitions and market research made through the NYS Public Service commission website. The resultant BPA will be a Firm Fixed Price BPA for a period of five years not to exceed April 15, 2028. This notice is not a request for quotations. The Contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical information regarding the proposed services and method of providing. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the Government.
