RFP Description
Location: Fort Hood, Texas. Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). This is a non-personal services contract to provide Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for III AC & Fort Hood, Texas. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, fuel, and other items necessary to perform movements of Unit Equipment, (except as otherwise noted in the specific Task Order (TO) and perform all work in strict accordance with the subsequent task orders as defined in the PWS, required for this MATOC. The MATOC is for Material Handling Equipment at Fort Hood, TX and surrounding areas, not to exceed 100-mile radius. The contractor shall provide the capability to simultaneously upload and download containerized equipment across several battalion footprints, when necessary and established at the TO level. Locations also include the wash rack, line haul site, Deployment Ready Reaction Field (DRRF) and the Rail Operations Center (ROC) to support operations throughout the III AC footprint. Services provided under this action will be in support of deployment, redeployment operations and in certain circumstances will require 24 hours of continuous operations, which will be identified at the TO level. During the contract period, the Government will identify tasks required to complete each specific job and will issue Requests for Task Order Proposals (RTOP) to all the MATOC Contractors. The Contractor(s) shall be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to manage and accomplish the TO(s).
