RFP Description
Location: Newport, Rhode Island. This solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Quotes received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. (RFQ) Number N6660426Q0309 Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a purchase order for the data acquisition components listed below on a sole-source basis. The Government has determined that only United Electronic Industries (UEI) can fulfill this requirement due to two critical factors: irreversible design integration with existing proprietary systems, and the prohibitive cost and schedule delays associated with alternatives.
